Camp Joyful Soles

Registration will open and applications will be accepted starting Wednesday January 25th, 2017. Camp Joyful Soles is Milton’s summer day camp for children with special needs aged 13 to 22.

  • All applications should be turned in to Milton City Hall or emailed to tom.mcklveen@cityofmiltonga.us
  • New applicants may be interviewed by city staff. After acceptance of paperwork, the family may be contacted for an interview time. The camper must attend this interview.
  • Returning campers may require a phone interview.

Camp Joyful Soles, held in conjunction with Alpharetta’s Camp Happy Hearts, will take place at Hopewell Middle School beginning in June for 7 weeks (with no camp the week of July 4). This small, specialized camp is limited to just 25 participants a week and includes: arts and crafts; games, music, art and drama therapy, special guests, field trips and swimming once a week.

Cost is $175 for Milton and Alpharetta residents and $262.50 for non-residents (a 50 percent increase) per week. Guardians may register for all seven weeks or a week at a time. The first week must be paid in full. There is a $50 per week, nonrefundable, nontransferable fee to hold spaces in future weeks. Remainder of the balance is due prior to the week reserved.
