If you are not yet registered to vote in the City of Milton, Fulton County or in national elections, here's how you can register:

To register to vote you must:

- Be a citizen of the United States
- Be a legal resident of Georgia
- Be at least 17 ½ years of age (at least 18 to vote)
- Not be serving a sentence for a conviction of a felony involving moral turpitude
- Have not been found mentally incompetent by a judge

 Your social security number is required at time of registration. A number of registration locations are available around town prior to elections or you can contact the Fulton County Voter Registration office at 404-730-7072 or Voter Registration Division at the Georgia Secretary of State's office.

How do I register?

The Fulton County Voter Registration Division, 404-730-7072, handles voter registration for all Fulton County residents, regardless of the city or unincorporated area where they reside.

You must be registered as a resident within the area in which you intend to vote. You must be registered 29 days prior to the date of the election in which you wish to vote, and you must be registered.  Registration deadline for the November 8, 2016 election is October 11, 2016.

You may pick up a Voter Registration Mail In Form from Milton City Hall, 13000 Deerfield Parkway, Suite 107F, Milton, GA  30004 (678) 242-2500 or the Milton Branch Library located at 1855 Mayfield Road, Milton, GA  30004 (404) 613-4402.

You will be mailed a voter registration card from Fulton County. Your precinct and polling location will be designated on the card. For more information on voter registration, contact the Fulton County Voter Registration Division at 404-730-7072.

To use the Online Voter Registration System you must have a valid driver’s license or identification card issued by GA Department of Driver Services (DDS) with signature on file with DDS. If you do not have a valid driver’s license or identification card, the link below will allow you to manually submit a paper registration.

You may use this system to (1) Register to vote in Georgia or (2) change your name and/or address on your current registration record.

Absentee Voting

Milton residents may cast their Absentee Ballot at the Fulton County Voter Registration Division located at 7741 Roswell Road, Atlanta, Georgia.

The application is then mailed to: Fulton County Voter Registration, Suite 4064, 141 Pryor Street, S.W., Atlanta, GA 30303, or can be faxed to Fulton County 404-730-8839. Fulton County will mail the ballot to the voter and the ballot is then mailed back to Fulton County.

Advance Voting

For information on advance voting for Milton residents contact Fulton County Voters Registration Division Office at 404-612-7020. You do not have to provide a reason to advance vote.
