The City of Milton invites the community to Bell Memorial Park for a ribbon cutting this Saturday, Oct. 10 at 8:30 a.m.
Bell Memorial Park is located at 15245 Bell Park Road in Milton.
This ceremony will mark the reopening of Bell Memorial Park for field use by Parks and Recreation lacrosse, football and baseball programs Monday through Friday 4 p.m. to close and all day on weekends for recreational use. Work in the park will continue throughout the fall to complete trails and maintenance facilities.
The park expansion included taking the park from 18 acres with four baseball fields to an over 36-acre multi-use facility with both passive and active recreation options. To take a virtual tour of the facility, click here:
The new park has four dedicated diamond fields with centerfield dimensions of 190, 200, 200 and 290 feet. There will also be two rectangular fields lined for football and lacrosse. Thesecond field can also be set up as a 200-foot, fifth diamond field.
Foresite Group master planned and designed the project, with Astra Group, Inc. completing construction of the facility.
