Every two years, in partnership with the National Community Survey and the International City-County Managers Association, Milton conducts a statistically valid survey to assess citizen satisfaction levels, benchmarking Milton against other US cities. The last survey was conducted in 2016. Due to the 2017 shift in when property tax revenues are reported, the regularly scheduled 2018 survey was deferred as part of the Finance department's efforts to manage the impacts of the delayed collection of property taxes, following Fulton County delays.
The Communications department presented high-level survey findings to the Milton City Council on August 12, 2019. The recorded presentation can be viewed online here or residents can view the summary PowerPoint slides here.
