Wastewater Management

Wastewater treatment is one of the most important services a local government may provide and one of the least visible. Water services are provided to Milton residents by Fulton County. The City of Milton does not provide water services to its residents.

While the City of Milton is responsible for stormwater management  activities, Fulton County is responsible for wastewater collection and treatment. Residents can visit the Fulton County Water Services website to learn more about Fulton County services.

Toilet Rebate Program

One of the services provided by Fulton County, and available to Milton residents, includes the high-efficiency toilet rebate program.

Septic Tank Resources

Some Milton residents are connected to Fulton County sewer services, while others operate from a septic system. It is the responsibility of the homeowner to maintain, repair, or replace all components of the septic system to protect the environment and public health. The links below provide valuable information on operating and maintaining your septic system.
