Founded in 2013, Milton’s Economic Development Department is tasked with building relationships with the city’s business owners and commercial real estate brokers to ensure the city creates a climate for economic success as prescribed in the 2012-2015 Strategic Plan.
First and foremost, the department endeavors to plan for sustainable growth by conducting business development outreach, tracking and publishing growth statistics and providing initiatives to promote development of commercially zoned areas in accordance with the Comprehensive Plan.
Secondly, the department works to promote Milton businesses to residents and the city’s assets to real estate professionals.
The City of Milton completed a 2017 Retail Recruitment Study with the Buxton Group for the Deerfield District. If you are interested in learning more about the study and the corresponding retail leads, please contact Economic Development Manager Sarah LaDart at firstname.lastname@example.org.
