The City of Milton’s Department of Communications and Engagement is tasked with high-tech/high-touch municipal government, media and community relationship building through process virtualization, data visualization and Web-based transparency projects.
In addition to creating news releases, newsletters and reports, the department routinely handles all press inquiries and e-mailed citizen requests.
Communications and Engagement is also responsible for coordinating and producing the City of Milton’s promotional materials, including posters, pamphlets and more. Lastly, it maintains the city’s Web presence through this site, plus the city’s Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Flickr accounts.

At this time, the city calendar is available for city business only. Schools and other non-profit groups holding special events within the City of Milton can request placement in the monthly newsletter, the Milton E-News Roundup. The request must be approved by the Communications Manager.
