City Clerk's Office Staff

A 30-year resident of Georgia, City Clerk Sudie Gordon joined the City of Milton in November 2009.

Gordon brings more than 25 years of executive experience in city, corporate and legal environments, most recently serving as executive administrative assistant to Energizer’s vice president of North America for 11 years.

Prior to that, Gordon provided support as a federal judge’s administrative assistant in the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit. She began her career in teaching special education after receiving a bachelor of science degree from James Madison University.

Gordon’s passion is working with service dogs as a trainer in her spare time, helping disabled people who benefit from the use of a service animal or pet therapy dog. She continues this passion by serving on the City of Milton Disability Awareness Committee. She also oversees the Board of Ethics.

Gordon has completed Clerk’s Mandated Training at the Carl Vinson Institute at the University of Georgia and is a certified municipal clerk. She is grateful to the citizens of Milton for giving her the opportunity to serve.
