Public Building and Facilities Authority

The Public Building and Facilities Authority, created June 4, 2012, pursuant to State House Bill 809, exists to obtain favorable financing and funding for public facilities, land, buildings, equipment, roads, bridges, sidewalks and services for the citizens of the City of Milton in a manner exempt from taxation and at low interest rates.

Additionally, State House Bill 1154 permits the Mayor and the City Council to appoint themselves to the Public Building and Facilities Authority. It exists in perpetuity.

The Public Building and Facilities Authority may meet on any day when the Mayor and City Council are scheduled to meet. All meetings will be publicly advertised.
