Tree Removal

 DOCUMENTS YOU WILL NEED

Note: On April 23, 2018, the Milton City Council adopted a new Tree Canopy Preservation Ordinance. The documents and process outlined below detail what is required under the new ordinance.

  1. Tree Removal Permit Application (to download, click link). Your completed application can be submitted by email to Dave.Butler@cityofmiltonga.us or in-person at Milton City Hall, 2006 Heritage Walk, Milton, GA 30004
  2. Read a tree ordinance summary here
  3. Note that Milton's Tree Canopy Preservation Ordinance requires that a person or company hired for the removal of trees be properly insured and must have a current business license.
