The City of Milton Fire-Rescue Department now hosts CPR Saturdays, a series of free lifesaving classes. The classes, held the first Saturday of the month, will take place at Milton Fire Station No. 43 located at 750 Hickory Flat Road.
CPR Saturdays is a part of the American Heart Association’s Family & Friends® CPR community training program. This dynamic course will cover Hands Only™ CPR, the use of an AED, rescue breathing, and choking.
All attendees will receive a certificate of completion. The class typically lasts about one hour and participants must be at least 12 years of age. Classes are limited to 10 people.
The City of Milton Fire-Rescue Department also offers free CPR classes to large groups, including churches, homeowners associations, social clubs, businesses and organizations. Upon your request, firefighters will visit your group with CPR practice kits and share vital information that you may someday use to save a life. For more information or to schedule a class for your group, please contact Fire Administrative Assistant Jamila Jones at 678-242-2541 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
