Deadline: The City of Milton is actively seeking police recruits
The City of Milton, GA is accepting applications for Police Officers.
Located in North Fulton County, Milton is a full-service government providing police, fire and other services to a population of over 37,000.
Duties and responsibilities include patrolling assigned zone to maintain visibility and observe and deter possible criminal activity and responding to all requests for assistance.
High School diploma (or GED equivalent), Bachelor's degree preferred. Valid driver’s license and satisfactory MVR. Must be a U.S. citizen. No felony or domestic violence convictions. Must be 21 years of age. Preference will be given to those applicants who are currently GA Peace Officer Certified.
Successful candidates will pass a physical agility test, written examination, oral interview, polygraph examination, background investigation, employment verification, psychological examination, and physical examination including drug screen.
Georgia Certified Peace Officers starting at $41,490. Upon completion of a 12 month probation period, pay increases to $43,565.
Lateral Entry up to $47,646 DOQ.
Non-Georgia Certified starting at $37,341.
