This position is responsible for performing professional tasks at the managerial level by supervising and overseeing the land development functions of the department. Manages the administration and enforcement of City, County, State and Federal codes and regulations. Work involves management of the plan review process, and the performance of all inspections for infrastructure and land development in the City.
Typical duties include:
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field with six years of experience in engineering design and management; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license. Professional Engineer License in the State of Georgia is preferred.
